DOG SHIT WORLD PREMIERE

The world premiere of shop team rider Josh Kuno’s highly anticipated ‘Dog Shit’ video is just under a week away. Filmed over the course of a global pandemic up until the first week of September 2023, this Duluth based full-length skate video was filmed exclusively on handycams and features footage from Twan Brown, Greg Brown, Jack Klander, Jackson Anderson, Stephen Simon, Bryan Malek, Josh Kuno and more! The video premieres at The Back Alley on Saturday, September 16th. Doors at 7. Video at 8. Tell your friends & remember to dress warm! This is an outdoor premiere. 

Bring some cash! The Lamedogs will be releasing some merch as well as an expansive 70+ page full color zine by Taylor Kuno documenting the crew’s trials and tribulations during the filming process.

Pocket Park Challenge Recap

The Pocket Park Challenge went off yesterday as skaters young and old tore apart the oldest park in Duluth. It was a cloudy day in the 60's, a perfect recipe for everyone involved. A new 40+ "Fedora" division was added this year to join the "Jacket" and "Tie" age groups. Big ups to Girl, Chocolate, Royal, Lakai and Happy Hour for sponsoring the event. Winners from left to right: Carter put together some impressive runs to take home his 4th "Jacket" title, Ollie cruised to his first "Tie" victory and his dad Eric skated solid all day and claimed the "Fedora" division. Josh Kuno took home best trick on the new DIY rail. Nice work dudes!

The long-awaited video 'Dog Shit' is finally here!

'Dog Shit' is a full-length Duluth skate video by shop team rider Josh Kuno and the Lamedogs crew. This video was shot exclusively on handycams between 2019-2023 and features the talents of Twan Brown, Greg Brown, Wyatt Lindberg, Stephen Simon, Jackson Anderson, Jack Klander, Josh Kuno & more!

Carnival of Carnage Recap

On Saturday, September 8th we hosted the "Carnival of Carnage" at the new Cloquet skatepark after a 13 year hiatus and it did not disappoint. Around 50 skaters came out to participate in the festivities and some really heavy skating went down. Relive the days' events through these photos by Matt Kako.

Lord of the Ropes

Lord of the Ropes returns to the sacred hills of Trollhaugen tomorrow night, Friday February 21st presented by IPP, Trollhaugen, and Indeed. Last year Kyle Kennedy claimed the crown in the "Return of the King." Can he do it for a third year in a row in "New Found Shores"? Come out tomorrow night to watch 64 of the best Midwest riders go head to head for the grand prize of $2000. Oh, did we mention shop riders Kristin Jessen, Josh Kuno, and Dan Spooner are taking part this year?

The 2nd stop of the Core Values Tour went down last Saturday and it was a blast. With temps in the 40's it was a spring-like day and everyone was hyped to try and claim their spot in finals.
